Saturday, December 14, 2013 at DrupalCamp Ohio

Since March 2011, the community has been hard at work on Drupal 8, which is moving toward completion in the near future. There have been hundreds of improvements system-wide: in user experience, mobile accessibility, configuration management, and more. In addition, this new release includes the most significant architectural changes in Drupal’s history, bringing Drupal in line with modern PHP development practices and allowing Drupal to integrate the work of other open source projects, like Symfony.

This session will provide an overview of the most important changes in store for end-users, site builders, designers, and developers when moving to Drupal 8. We’ll also discuss the current status of core development and what you can do to help make Drupal 8 the most awesome release of Drupal yet!
